Specialist Recovery Support

Providing private recovery coaching and behavioural support in the UK and internationally, from ongoing individual work to intensive residential assignments.

Areas of experience

People rarely arrive with a single difficulty. Addiction, mental health, relationships and personal circumstances often overlap, particularly during periods of crisis or significant change.

My experience includes supporting people through:

  • Addiction, substance misuse and relapse prevention

  • Trauma, sexual assault and domestic abuse

  • Depression, anxiety and emotional dysregulation

  • Personality disorders and complex relational difficulties

  • Bereavement, grief and significant life transitions

  • HIV diagnosis and sexual health concerns

  • Relationship breakdown, divorce and family conflict

  • Professional upheaval, public scrutiny and unwanted media attention

  • Legal proceedings and other high-pressure circumstances

Ways of working

Support may be ongoing or intensive, sometimes involving extended periods within a client's home, travel or collaboration with an established clinical team.

Depending on the circumstances, this can include:

  • Residential and live-in recovery coaching

  • Individual recovery planning and behavioural support

  • Developing meaningful activities, interests and daily routines

  • Working within multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychotherapists

  • Support within private households and complex family environments

  • International assignments and accompanied travel

  • Transitions into and out of residential treatment
