A collaborative, responsive process

My work brings together recovery coaching, therapeutic conversation and practical support for people facing difficult changes, whether through crisis, loss, addiction or other pressures in their lives.

Rather than following a fixed programme, we work with what is needed. Sessions may involve conversation, movement, meditation or time outdoors, and can take place regularly or through more intensive support in everyday life.

Low-profile support for high-profile lives

I work discreetly with individuals, families and clinical teams, often in circumstances where privacy and professional boundaries are particularly important.

This requires knowing when to step back, when to offer direction and how to remain a reliable presence.

The working relationship

I build trust through consistency, warmth, honesty, humour and shared experience. Difficult conversations can take place openly, with room for both challenge and support.

Conversation is only part of the work. Movement, time outdoors, creative and practical activities can bring connection, enjoyment and play, as well as opportunities to reflect.

Beginning the conversation

Much of my work begins through word of mouth or personal recommendation. Direct enquiries are equally welcome.

I usually begin with a conversation to understand what is happening, what kind of support might be useful, and whether working together feels like the right fit.
